Now place the two images so that the overlap slightly, like so.
Next, using the selection tool (
). Select the area you would like to blend.
Then select the Feather tool by going to Effects>Blurs>Feather.
Set "Feather Amount" to 10 and move the arrow from "Grow" to "Shrink" below "Feather Amount".
Now repeat the Feather effect as many times as you like. If you wish to feather one area of the image more, then using the selection tool, select that area and continue to feather it until you come out with your product. My image now looks like this.
Now merge your layers by going to Layers>Merge Layers Down and resize if you like. You may want to add some effects or brushes to your blend to make it more appealing and make sure to add your credit to the image. Below is my finished product.
